Redwood Empire Food Bank Volunteers - Every month we rely on their generous support, which would otherwise require the work of 45 full-time staff members. Spend a two-hour shift in the REFB warehouse. Enhance your cooking skills volunteering in the REFB Kitchen Collective program. Provide support at an REFB benefit event or at one of our many food distribution sites. Children between the ages of 12 and 13 are welcome to volunteer as long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times. Children 14 years of age and older can volunteer independently. Volunteers in our Kitchen Collective must be at least 15 years old. First time volunteers can drop-in to the REFB for a 30-minute New Volunteer Orientation to learn more about various volunteer positions. Orientations are held Mon-Fri at 9a and 1p at 3990 Brickway Boulevard in Santa Rosa. Orientations can also be arranged by appointment, Mon- Thur, at 4p.
