for the best integrated government project within
the Sultan Qaboos Award for Excellence in
e-Government Services in 2018. In addition to,

reducing customs inspections and relying on prior
indicators and information. On top of providing
customs outlets with advanced inspection devices.
Customs Bayan system
Among the aspects of modernization and technical
transformation that the Directorate General
of Customs is witnessing to facilitate customs
procedures and operations raising the level of
customs services provided to the commercial
community, by improving the work system, and
converting customs procedures and operations
into digital through a comprehensive electronic
system, the most prominent of which is the launch
of the customs Bayan system. This system includes
(294) electronic services and is linked with (72)
governmental and private agencies.
Where the system won the award for the best-
integrated government project as part of the Sultan
Qaboos Award for Excellence in e-Government
Services in the year (2018 AD), in addition to
