s a new leadership dawned in the university
when my term as a University President
ended, I opted to come back and serve my
Alma Matter- the Potia Campus. Unbeknown to
others, I spent my first two High School years on this campus-
the then Potia Agricultural School. Such a number of years
studying and serving this institution have played a major part
for me to become who and where I am now. When the position
for Campus Administrator opened, I grabbed the opportunity: I
applied and luckily, I was appointed to the position in July
           2019. DR. SERAFIN L. NGOHAYON
                                                                                 Campus Executive Director
During my tenure as a President, I have always pushed July 2019-February 2020
for a quality-driven administration towards holistically
sustainable developments as the mantra of the university,
ensuring that unequivocal perspectives are drawn from single
yet multifaceted governance. I still carried this me when I sat
as the CA of the Campus. But to realize this further, we pro-
posed and implemented programs and projects that aim to im-
prove the quality of services we offer, especially that of instruc-
           tion across all the programs.

As a result of our unceasing thrust to quality education,
we once again proved that we can be at par with other univer-
sities made evident by our performance on the different licen- Time may tick so
sure examinations by superseding the National Board Passing
Rate. This is a manifestation that IFSU is not just a university, fast, but IFSU Potia
it is a university that transforms students from who they are will always stand
into who they should be. Another noteworthy accomplish-

                                                                             th

Foundation Day Celebration. It was the first time that such
celebration was held outside the Main Campus.

Parallel to the increasing rate of IFSU PC population
and the tremendous need to notch up the services are infra-
structure projects. The successes that the campus attained
are just the start of our journey towards the academe we opt to
be -- to become a globally recognized university. The campus
is on its flight towards the breakthrough that we are
envisaging, our transformation into an independent tertiary
education. The bill was approved by the lower house.
However, there is still a lot to be done to accomplish this goal
as we are engulfed with challenges and there are two roads
before us. One leads to our fiasco and the other to our feat.
Our dream, to bring our campus to a higher pedestal, is not
vague if we work for it. This breakthrough is not only a vision
of one but of all and it is our mission to accomplish it. As
Booker T. Washington put into words, “we can be as separate
as the fingers yet one as the hand in all the things essential to
mutual progress”. Let us bear in mind that time may tick so
fast, but IFSU Potia will always stand on solid ground.
