                  I.4. The Academic and Administrative Councils exercise their

                  powers and perform their functions

                        The Members of the Academic and Administrative Council and their powers
                         and functions are found in the University Code Administrative Manual part 1,

                         page 20.


                  3.1.1.1. “Administrative Council. The Administrative Council (ADCO) of the University
                         is composed of the University President as Chairperson, with the Vice President
                         for Administration and Finance as Vice Chairman and the other Vice Presidents
                         as members along with the Campus Directors, the Department Directors and
                         College  Deans,  and  other  University  officials  of  equal  rank.  The  Board  and
                         University Secretary shall be the Secretary of the Administrative Council. The
                         ADCO is the policy-proposing body for management and administrative matters.

                  3.1.1.2. Academic Council.    The Academic Council (AC) is composed of the University
                         President as Chairperson and the Vice President for Academic Affairs as Vice
                         Chairperson and all faculty members with the ranks not lower than Assistant
                         Professor.  The  Council  is  empowered  to  review  and  recommend  curricular
                         offerings and rules of discipline of the university, fix the requirements for the
                         admission of students, their graduation and conferment of degrees.”
