Sheer stress






          Sheer stress arises from forces that are parallel to

             the plane of cross section






          Sheer stress on other hand is tangent to the
             plane on which it act. Sheer stress is arising

             whenever the applied loads cause one

             section of a body to slide past its adjacent
             section






          Sheer stress can be computed from
