2. Codes and standard are  using in design.

              i- A standard is a set specification for parts, materials, or process


              intended to achieve uniformly, efficiency and specified quality.

              Purpose to limit  of multitude of variation.


              ii- Codes is a set of specification for the analysis, design,

              manufacturer and  construction of something. Purpose to


              achieve a specified degree of safety, efficiency, and

              performance or quality.

              Iii- All the organizations and society listed below have


              established specification for standard and safety or design

              codes


                         Aluminum Association (AA)

                         American Standard Institute (ANSI)


                         American Bearing Manufacturing Association (ABMA)

                         British Standard Institute (BSI)

                         International Standard Organization (ISO)
