hamel and Megan were working in the deli
when they noticed an older gentleman who was struggling to collect himself. They called to me to check on him. After a few moments of talking with Earl, I quickly ascertained he may be dealing with low blood sugar. As I radioed to Megan, she was already in motion. Megan immediately went for some juice and we got Earl a chair to sit down in until paramedics came. By the time they arrived, Earl was already on his way to recovery. He was able to regain normal sugar levels and was safely on his way. Their attentiveness, along with their ability to act quickly, helped prevent Earl from suffering a medical emergency.
