The APEC Leaders’ Meeting held in Brunei Darussalam in November 2000

reaffirmed the confidence in APEC’s vision of a community of open and
interdependent economies as the means to strengthen our ability to grow
together in the global market and deliver prosperity to our people. The
APEC Leaders renewed their determination to bring this vision into reality
through shared commitment to the Bogor Goals of free and open trade

capacity of our people, institutions, infrastructure and markets according
to the action agenda agreed in Osaka, Japan.
