The APEC Voices of the Future delegates
moved on from the APEC Youth Festival
2012 to attend the ABAC Meeting held

on board the cruise ship, ’Legend of the
Seas’ docked at the harbor at Vladivostok
where key business leaders from the Asia-
Pacific region and the world discussed
issues pertaining to trade and policies and

addressed various concerns.

APEC Voices delegates attended the APEC CEO Summit 2012 at the
invitation of the Russian Host Committee, where the young leaders
from the Asia-Pacific region had the opportunity to attend the various

sessions addressed by APEC Economies Leaders. Apart from the

John Key, Prime Minister of New Zealand. serious meetings, APEC Voices delegates also visited various places
APEC Voices delegate from Russia presenting the APEC Youth Declaration on
of interest in Vladivostok during their stay. behalf of the APEC Youth Festival 2012 to H.E. Vladimir Putin, President of the
Russian Federation.

At the closing ceremony held at Russky Island, Andrey Kostin, Chair,
APEC CEO Summit 2012, passed the gavel, the event’s symbol
to Karen Agustiawan, President and CEO, Pertamina, Indonesia.
Indonesia will be the APEC Chair for 2013.
