“The NYAA Programme provided me with
a platform for self-discovery and self-
development – knowing my strengths,
weaknesses and most importantly,
discovering my passion for serving the
community. In addition, through the
NYAA programme, I was connected to
many other volunteering opportunities,
allowing me to take on leadership roles.

My participation in the NYAA Programme
(Bronze 2001, Silver 2002 and Gold 2004)
set a strong leadership foundation in my
younger days, shaping me into who I am
today. For that, I am eternally grateful to
the NYAA Council.”
