While the NYAA is about persevering and
excelling, it is also about knowing your added
responsibility when you are privileged to reach
the top. Attaining the gold award is not about
graduating but about commencing the more
enlightened part of your life journey. It is about
being more ready to pay it forward.

This is what it means to be an NYAA gold
award holder. It is about reaching the level of
competency and self-awareness to lead other
like-minded individuals to serve with passion
and imagination. It is about having the humility
to work hard to achieve the gold award to qualify
to serve.
