Energy Savings
We noted that some clean rooms used fluorescent bulbs
during the review, as shown in Figure 6. We calculated
that the company could save approximately 62% of
electricity use per light tube, where one fluorescent
tube uses about 0.043 kWh while one LED bulb uses only
0.016 kWh. Inzign uses about 1500 tubes that produce
about 27.01kg of CO per hour or 19,449.072 kg of CO 2

per month.
Our research noted that changing the air-conditioners
and air-handling unit (AHU) filters could significantly
reduce power consumption (see Figure 7). We
understood from the Facility Supervisor that the AHU
units are replaced annually (see Figure 8).
