controlled sets, is available in Annex C. The illustrations
were presented in a radar chart for ease of understanding
and visualisation.
The team identified opportunities to reduce water and
electricity consumption by comparing results from two
trial phases to justify the proposed solution. The stall
would start to roll out Phase 1, where for the first three
weeks (15 working days), the stall would operate as
usual. In the next three weeks in Phase 2 (another 15
working days), the stall would issue only 50% of ice per
cup for any chilled drink purchased. The electricity and
water readings were taken respectively for comparison
(see Figure 5). Following that, the team spoke to the
SME management on the finding.
