                         National Youth Achievement Award Council

Since the inception of the National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) programme in 1992, environmental

sustainability has been a cornerstone of our mission. For over three decades, we have remained deeply
committed to addressing the pressing environmental challenges that affect our world. In 1998, with the
invaluable partnership of HSBC Singapore, we proudly launched the HSBC NYAA Youth Environmental
Award. This award was created to inspire and empower a new generation of young leaders dedicated to

            protecting and preserving our planet.

The 25th Anniversary of the HSBC NYAA Youth Environmental Award is a landmark moment in our
shared journey. It is not only a time to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our award recipients

but also to recognise the profound and lasting impact they have made. These individuals have gone
beyond advocacy and implemented meaningful, transformative initiatives that have shaped Singapore’s
sustainable future. Their passion, leadership, and commitment to environmental stewardship have left
an indelible legacy on our nation’s ecological landscape.

We sincerely thank HSBC Singapore for their unwavering support and belief in NYAA’s vision.
Their steadfast commitment over the past 25 years has empowered youth to take up the mantle of
environmental leadership. Together, we have cultivated a legacy of changemakers who inspire future

generations to address the challenges of climate change and sustainability with boldness and vision.

As we look towards the future, our resolve is stronger than ever. We are committed to nurturing the next
generation of environmental champions—youth who will serve as shining beacons of hope, guiding

Singapore and the world toward a more resilient and sustainable future.
