            Introduction                                         Environmental Review
            ITE-CW  is  pleased  to  submit  this  project  report  as  part  of  In June 2024, we visited METech Recycling Pte Ltd to learn
            our  participation  in  the  NYAA-HSBC  Competition.  We  are  more about the company. Refer to Figure 2.
            collaborating  with  METech  Recycling  Pte  Ltd.,  a  company
            dedicated to reducing its environmental impact and promoting
            sustainable  practices  throughout  its  operations.  METech
            Recycling employs approximately 50 to 60 people.

            METech  Recycling  is  a  leading  provider  of  environmental
            solutions,  specialising  in  the  sustainable  management  of
            electronic  waste  (e-waste).  With  a  strong  commitment
            to  promoting  circular  economy  practices,  METech  offers
            comprehensive recycling services that prioritise environmental
            protection and resource recovery. The company is equipped

            range of materials, including metals, plastics, and electronic
            components, ensuring minimal environmental impact.

            Founded  on  the  principles  of  sustainability  and  innovation,
            METech  works  closely  with  businesses,  governments,  and
            communities  to  address  the  growing  global  challenge  of
            e-waste.  By  adhering  to  stringent  environmental  standards
            and  regulations,  METech  ensures  responsible  recycling
            processes  that  reduce  landfill  waste  and  conserve  valuable

                                                                 According to the National Environment Agency (NEA) report,
                                                                 only  a  mere  6%  of  electronic  waste  (e-waste)  generated  in
                                                                 Singapore is recycled annually. Refer to reference 7.

                                                                 Mr.  Vincent  Quek,  a  Sustainability  &  Recycling  Consultant,
                                                                 showed us the different services offered by METech Recycling
                                                                 Service  (see  Figure  3).  Because  of  business  confidentiality,
                                                                 some processes, like Precious Metal Recovery, were off-limits,
