As a small, low-lying island city-state, Singapore is Climate change is not only an environmental crisis — it is
especially vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, an intergenerational challenge. We are deeply heartened
from intensifying heat stress to rising sea levels. These by the growing commitment of our young people to

In support of this national endeavour, the HSBC-
NYAA ITE Sustainability Initiatives were launched to
empower ITE students to apply their technical skills
in real-world contexts, co-developing innovative and
practical solutions with industry partners to reduce
carbon emissions. This initiative provides students with
meaningful opportunities to contribute to sustainability
while building confidence, creativity, and a sense of
environmental stewardship.
