a Sonnet

You are invisible but so deadly
Always attacking the weakest people
Leading them to despair, anguish and death
You leave us blind, bound, and unarmed to fight
We all fight together against you
Separating us from our dearest people
Moving away from the life we have known
The doctors have had to give more than 100%
Forced to see the evil of your actions
You broke the hearts of many families
You left orphaned children all over the world
You became a terrible pandemic
You will never break our faith or our hope
That soon we can breathe without fear of dying
