parents could pay our mortgage for our apartment without worrying. Also, if
we were wealthy we could donate money to help the homeless people living on
the streets. My parents keep trying to help us feel safe, but I can’t help thinking
that wealthy people are safer.
The pandemic makes me think of how having a home is so important. It also
makes me think people that don’t are in a really bad situation. But, I can’t help
but think that what if the pandemic gets so bad that my parents can’t make
enough money now to keep our home. My mom keeps telling us things will
get better, and our health is the most important, but we wouldn’t be able to
stay healthy if we can’t keep our home. I hope my parents are able to get back
to work quickly. I hope if they are able to have extra money that they will think
about helping the people that don’t have homes.
