While stuck indoors,
one may find new exciting things and experiment on
these new findings. I’ve recently found new things to
do and had time to find new things about myself. I
have explored a new side of taking photos indoors.
Photographing a long project in quarantine felt
different but in a good way for me. Staying indoors
made me feel like I had more time on my hands. With
more time I had a lot of freedom to experiment and
take new photos. Not only that, I feel like the indoors
helped me understand myself as a person and slowly
find out more about myself.
This is an exploration of self-portraiture combined
with the elements of light and dark. The reflections
and hidden details bring forth a whole new myste-
rious yet captivating view. This independent project
reveals creative aspects while exploring the puzzling
features that shadow and brightness bring.
