Fall Conference Speakers
Roseline was raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and attended Cornell University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1991. In 1995, Roseline received a master’s degree in coastal zone management at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. She serves on the boards of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Pennsylvania, Nobis Engineering, Inc., and the Associated Pennsylvania Constructors (APC).
Mark Compton
Mark began serving as chief executive officer of the
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission in February 2013. A
professional with more than two decades of public- and
private-sector experience in transportation, administration,
government affairs and construction, he holds a bachelor’s
degree from Penn State University. He previously served as the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s deputy secretary of administration, overseeing eight bureaus within the agency.
Before joining PennDOT, Mark was director of government affairs for American Infrastructure, a heavy civil construction company in Worcester, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he worked in various public and private operations, focusing largely on transportation, construction and economic development. Mark has been an active participant in the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA). Since 2015, he has served on IBTTA’s board of directors and is currently serving as IBTTA’s president.
Sabina Deitrick, APA
At the University of Pittsburgh, Sabina is an associate professor in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, and co-director of the Urban and Regional Analysis Program at the University Center for Social and Urban Research.
