Fall Conference Speakers
David Heath
David is a principal of BBP Solutions, which manages the Pennsylvania Drone Association. He is a passionate and motivated management and policy consultant, who has spearheaded and supported many innovative and strategic initiatives.
As a co-founder and executive director, he has created a
statewide public-private workforce development program, crossing many industries for his clients. David has engaged legislators while drafting and amending public policy for the economic growth of the drone community. He assists the association with public outreach, advocacy and organizational development opportunities, and has solidified strategic partnerships and facilitated collaborative programs, while elevating clients’ visibility on the state, national and global scale.
Rep. Tim Hennessey
A long-time community servant as a legislator, dedicated attorney, trial attorney with the public defender’s office
from 1973 to 1992, and lifelong resident of Chester County, Tim has represented the residents of the 26th District since 1993. In the House, he serves as the Republican Chairman of the Transportation Committee.
During his tenure, Tim has authored legislation helping local governments tackle the problems of urban blight and abandoned property. He is the author of Act 64 of 1997, which waives the advertising and bidding requirements for the sale of township real property to nonprofit community development corporations, as well as the Weed and Seed Legislation, Act 146 of 2002. He also is a strong advocate for property tax relief and improving schools throughout the commonwealth.
In addition to his committee work, Tim chairs the Steel and Irish caucuses. He also dedicates his time to the Local Tax Reform, Firefighters and Emergency Services and Solid Waste caucuses. Prior to his election to the House of Representatives, he served as chairman of the Rotary Student Exchange Program and the Group Study Exchange. He was president of the Birthright of Pottstown and past president of the Alternatives Corporation of Pottstown, a shelter for abused or dependent children.
