GREETINGS:
COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR
I am delighted to offer my congratulations to the Susquehanna Chorale on its fortieth anniversary and to Linda Tedford for fifty years of choral conducting.
Since its founding in 1981, Susquehanna Chorale has been recognized as one of the premier ensembles in Pennsylvania. Under Director Linda Tedford, Susquehanna Chorale was the first volunteer chorus to be awarded the prestigious Margaret Hillis Achievement Award for Choral Excellence. The Susquehanna Chorale has been dedicated to developing future singers by hosting an annual Youth Choral Festival, as well as providing educational opportunities for young singers. I applaud the dedication of Director Tedford for enriching the lives of young musicians from all walks of life. I am certain that the Susquehanna Chorale will continue to have a positive impact on the community and play an integral role in celebrating music education for many years to come.
As Governor, and on behalf of all the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I am pleased to congratulate Linda Tedford and the Susquehanna Chorale on these important milestones.

On behalf of the Messiah University community, it is my privilege to offer congratulations to the Susquehanna Chorale and its incomparable Artistic Director, Founder and Conductor, Linda Tedford, on your 40th anniversary season. Messiah University is honored to support the artistry of the Chorale and Linda, who also served as Artist in Residence and Director of Choral Activities at Messiah. Your exquisite music making has enriched the lives of many individuals throughout the Central Pennsylvania region and beyond her borders. At a time when there is so much societal division, angst and polarization, Linda and the Chorale offer comfort, promote unity and nurture human flourishing through the gift of music. Thank you for your commitment to musical excellence and community building. Congratulations!
