1981 – 1982 Season • 9/20/81 – First SC performance at St. Peter’s Kierch, Middletown, PA with eleven singers • 12/20-21/81 – SC performs first Christmas Concert Series at Saint Matthew Lutheran

• 5/16-17/81 - SC performs first Spring Concert Series at Lakeside Lutheran Church and Trinity United Methodist Church, Hummelstown
1982 – 1983 Season • 3/26/83 – Began affiliation with Chamber Singers of Harrisburg, Robert Upton, conductor, to co-sponsor the First Central Pennsylvania Choral Festival with Robert Page,

1983 – 1984 Season
• 2/10/84 – First American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Eastern Division Convention performance, Baltimore, MD
1984 – 1985 Season • Summer 1984 – Became incorporated, obtained non-profit status, created board of directors, and began receiving support from community non-profit foundations
• First grant awarded from PA Council on the Arts
• December 1984 – SC participates in Menotti’s Amahl & the Night Visitors, Hershey Symphony Orchestra, Ronald E. Schafer, Conductor, Forum, Harrisburg
1986 – 1987 Season • SC chosen as a recipient of funding from the newly-formed Allied Arts Fund
1987 – 1988 Season • 1987 – Joined Association of Professional Vocal Ensembles (Chorus America)
• 2/12/88 – Performance for the ACDA Eastern Division Convention, Philadelphia
• June 1988 – SC sings the newly-written state song, Pennsylvania, in the Capitol Chambers for members of Congress for approval as the state song
1988 – 1989 Season • December 1988 – SC performs the Central PA Premiere of Voices in the Mist, by Richard Wargo
1989 – 1990 Season • Fall 1989 – The Susquehanna Youth Chorale, grades 10-first year of college, is formed, Linda Tedford, Conductor, with first concert on 11/14/89
1990 – 1991 Season
• 3/23/91 – SC sings Mozart’s Missa Brevis in D Major with Hershey Symphony, Eric Townell, Conductor
1991 – 1992 Season • 12/14, 16, 17/91 – SC performs the East Coast Premiere of little tree, by Steve Heitzeg
• 5/9, 11-12/92 – SC celebrates 10th anniversary with commission and world premiere of Richard Wargo’s Madrigals of Spring
