MEET OUR SPEAKERS
Carl Nassib
Former NFL player, tech founder, and philanthropist Carl Nassib is an inspirational
activist for the LGBTQ community and a powerful advocate for financial literacy.
Nassib is a seven-year NFL veteran and former captain of the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers. When he was at Pennsylvania State, Nassib went from being a Walk-
On to earning unanimous All-American honors. Through his advocacy and in
sought-after events as a motivational keynote speaker he has made an impact with
audiences worldwide.
In addition to his remarkable journey on the football field, Nassib is a tech founder and a committed
philanthropist. He is the Founder and CEO of the Rayze app, which enables users to give back to
causes they are passionate about – connecting nonprofits to the next generation of philanthropists.
Amy Hager
Amy has been successfully creating effective strategies for businesses and nonprofits
across the country since 2005. Her strong service-oriented attitude provides measurable
results in many different industries including: Hospitality/Travel/Tourism, Membership
Associations/Chambers, Technology, Construction, Consultants and Coaches.
A true marketer at heart, her experiences help her relate and apply strategies across
many industries. Her love of small businesses and the community is reflected in her
work with small lodging properties, retail store owners, community publications, and
chambers. Her work with volunteer and member-driven organizations to advocate, engage,
and build alliances to effectively represent a greater industry at the state and national allows
for each participant to build on their strengths and gain new experiences. As a presenter and
facilitator, Amy engages audiences to motivate and leave with new and achievable ideas to improve
their business, organizations, and communities.
Beck Moore
Beck Moore serves as CEO at Community Action Association of Pennsylvania
(CAAP), working with the 43 Community Action Agencies addressing poverty
across every county in the Commonwealth. Having a deep-rooted appreciation
stemming from personal experiences of living in poverty and being homeless, Beck
is devoted to creating change. He regularly educates on the realities of poverty,
social determinants of health, dimensions of diversity, and helping people challenge
their assumptions. Beck has served in nonprofit leadership roles over the past 20
years and has a passion for values-based leadership. He holds a bachelor’s degree
in Secondary Education from Penn State and a master’s degree in human resources
from the University of Scranton. Beck is also a father by nontraditional means and
loves to write and spending time in the outdoors. Beck serves on various boards and committees with United Way
of PA, County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations,
Interstate Renewable Energy Council WAP Enhancement and Innovation Committee, Parents as Teachers Advisory
Committee, and others.
