Kelly Cockshaw
Kelly Cockshaw is the Director of Leadership and Innovation at United Way of Chester
County
(UWCC). In this role, Kelly oversees the strategic management of Leadership Chester
County and spearheads the development of impactful Social Innovation initiatives. The
program’s mission is to foster innovative approaches to address complex challenges,
driving meaningful and sustainable change throughout Chester County. Kelly came to
UWCC with 20+ years of experience in high-tech marketing and program development,
including 14 years at global enterprise software company, SAP. She lives in Malvern, PA with
her husband, two sons and two dogs.
Dr. Emily Aubele
Emily’s professional background includes over 25 years in higher education
administration. She began her time with United Way of Pennsylvania in 2018 as the
Special Projects Manager for PA 211, then moved into the role of Quality Assurance
Director for the Pennsylvania statewide system.
In her current role as Vice President of PA 211, Emily is responsible for providing executive
leadership for the statewide 211 operations, facilitating the attainment of strategic goals
and initiatives, supporting regional partners in the delivery of 211 services, and building
collaborative and sustainable relationships with community based organizations and
others to foster awareness and support of 211.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Westminster College, her Master’s at Kent State University, and her
Doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh.
Karen Struble Myers
Karen Struble Myers, CFRE, is President and Chief Executive Officer of the United Way of
the Laurel Highlands. In her role, she is responsible for effective planning, development,
and execution of strategic and operational plans to meet key health and human services
needs in Somerset and Cambria Counties. In addition, Karen has the unique role of
“convener” in the community, either as a key participant in or as a leader of community
initiatives designed to address emerging or systemic issues facing area residents. Rooted
in her commitment to serve people, she has spent more than 20 years in the nonprofit
sector. Karen most recently served as Associate Director of the Fred Rogers Center
at Saint Vincent College. As a Certified Fundraising Executive, she often provides pro
bono consulting for fundraising, branding, and communications. She is a graduate of Penn State University and holds a
master’s degree from Carlow University.
