Sara Noel
Sara Noel is the Director of Community Impact Operations at United Way of
Southwestern PA and has over 15 years of experience working with non-profit
organizations of all sizes. Before joining United Way, Sara worked with globally-focused
and service-learning organizations in Pittsburgh and travelled to over 50 countries. In
her current role, she is responsible for the internal operations of the community impact
department, including the organization’s grantmaking processes.
Kim Amsler
Kim Amsler, who began her position as Director of Mission Advancement at United
Way of Pennsylvania and PA 211 in March 2022, is an experienced nonprofit leader
with nearly twenty years of development and community collaboration experience.
Throughout her career, Kim has demonstrated a passion for serving her communities
and addressing systemic issues. In Kim’s role, she leads the team’s strategy for
Strategic Partnerships and Mission-Aligned Revenue. Kim is exceptionally proud of the
work that UWP and PA 211 does to increase housing security and the continued growth of
our relationship with the Eastern PA CoC team. In the coming months, Kim is enthusiastic
about identifying new partners for ALICE Council of Partners and further developing this
program in partnership with this incredibly committed, talented, and dynamic coalition of leaders
who collaborate on strategies and community initiatives so all can thrive.
Chad Barger
Chad Barger, ACFRE, ACNP helps nonprofit professionals fundraise more efficiently and
effectively. He is the founder of the firm Productive Fundraising, which focuses on
bringing actionable, research-based fundraising tactics to small and mid-sized non-
profits. He is a top-rated conference speaker and webinar presenter as well as a master
trainer of boards that “don’t want to fundraise.” Chad is also a strategic advisor and
coach to many non-profit fundraisers, executive directors and board members. He takes
pride in being a qualified curator of top-notch fundraising news and research through his
weekly fundraiserchad e-blasts and popular free monthly webinar series.
