Representative Sedrick Denson
Cincinnati- Ohio House District 33
Representative Sedrick Denson is a third-generation Cincinnatian who has dedicated his
career to empowering, leading, and serving the citizens of Cincinnati.
As a student at the School for Creative and Performing Arts, he met a City Council member
who made him realize the impact a public servant can have. He went on to study
organizational leadership at the University of Cincinnati and began his career with the
Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency.
He then served as chief of staff to council
member Wendell Young and went on to
serve as Southwest Ohio outreach director
for For Ohio’s Future Action Fund.
He is currently the Southwest Ohio director
for the Ohio Environmental Council. He also
is political action chair for Greater Cincinnati
National Action Network and government
affairs chair for the African American
Chamber of Commerce.
Representative Denson resides in Bond Hill
and has one son, Harper, with partner
Melanie.
