Case study




       Individual  students  may  be  slow  in  grasping  grammatical  skills  in
       comparison with their peers. This often present a challenge to teachers who
       may have a fairly large class to tutor. Script On! possesses intrinsic quality
       that could assist the teacher to work through specific problem, in a fun way.
       SCENARIO
       Having carried out an audit to determine the individual strength of pupils in
       a grammar class, the teacher should isolate students with a higher degree
       of competency in a topic that presents difficulty to a greater number of the
       class. Then break the class into manageable groups and then, introduce the
       students with higher proficiency as group energizers or team captains.

       TASK
       Each team captain is tasked with helping his/her group to attain proficiency.
       And in an internally determined process by teacher/school authority, a
       merit system that would stimulate and honor team work and selfless spirit
       is hoisted, i.e Team and Captain being rewarded with a badge of merit for
       academic  excellence  having  overcome  a  learning  challenge.  This  class
       activity could become a precursor to an intra school Script On! Challenge,
       thus promoting healthy learning in a fun way.
