I’ve been at the MHT for 7 years and this is now my 8th year. When I was younger,
I would always think to myself why I had to go to extra school on Saturdays, while

my friends got to hang out together. I really resented going because I thought that I
could do better things. When I got older, I realized that it wasn’t that bad. Yeah, I
could be doing other things, but at the GLVN program, I was able to learn more
about God and myself. I remember my first day going into the program. I was so
excited to go to school with my brother and sister for the first time. I was also going
to see my cousin every Saturday. The more I went, the better my understanding was
of God. Also my Vietnamese got better over time. Then came the pandemic year.
Although doing GLVN in my room was less stressful, I did miss being in person and
Mừng I missed interacting with my friends. However, that year was when I learned the
most. I was able to learn more about the stories of God and the world he created.
20 Năm This year, in 8th grade, I learned more about myself and how to love myself. I learn
how to interact with others and create memories. The GLVN program at the MHT
impacted my mental health by making me love myself more, but also challenging

me to figure out things in a creative way. At the MHT, I also learn more about how
