Machine Vision Systems provide advanced inspection for quality control as well as object recognition for
next generation vehicles and artificial intelligence applications. Heat generated by surrounding electronics

must be efficiently dissipated from the imaging sensor to ensure high-quality images.

Thermal noise caused by heat from electronics can negatively impact imaging sensor. Consideration needs

to be taken when integrating a thermoelectric cooler to minimize size, thermal shorting and condensation on
surfaces that go below dew point.

Utilizing the Peltier effect, thermoelectric coolers are ideal for temperature control of imaging sensors in
machine vision systems. The new HiTemp ETX Series from Laird Thermal Systems boosts cooling capacity

by up to 10% and the robust module construction allows it to operate in high temperature environments
               where standard thermoelectric coolers fail.
