Creative Writing I and II
Develop your creative talents as you experience poetry, short stories, drama, screen writing and more
through independent reading, discussion and writing. Develop a portfolio or original literary works.
Public Speaking
Master the skills to speak in front of an audience of any size. Students will work with Dramatic
Interpretation, Comedic Interpretation, Declamation, Original Oratory, Prose, Poetry and team speaking
with the skills used in National Forensic Competitions.
Senior Thesis Honors Seminar
Shadow a professional in a career of your choice and embark on an exciting senior thesis opportunity,
designing and directing your own research and learning. Students will create schedules to reflect three
days in the professional world, one day in the public library and one day in a teacher-directed seminar
each week.
Literature Appreciation Honors
