SAFETY AND ASSEMBLY OF MOBILE SCAFFOLD
Task: Safety and assembly of Mobile scaffold. Brief:
Prior to visiting the site:
Ensure you have all of the following:
• Full set of scaffold components. The following is for single size:
◦ 2 x guardrail ◦ 2 x midrails
◦ 1 x platform
◦ 1 x cross brace ◦ 2 x end frames ◦ kick boards
• Installation instructions can be easily read from under the platform.
• Access to full instruction manual
• Mobile scaffold safety tag.
• Correct PPE.

Mobile scaffold can make our jobs safer. However if we don't take the correct precautions or have the correct training they can be dangerous.
Never erect or collapse a mobile scaffold if you haven't been training in doing so.
Reading this process does NOT qualify you to be competent in the erection/collapse of a mobile scaffold.

Always follow the manufactures instructions.
This scaffold has one way it has been designed and tested to be installed.
Never adapt it.
You must be trained by a competent person to erect scaffold yourself. It will take several times assisting with safe erection of the mobile scaffold before you will be deemed competent to erect it yourself.
Only GT Electrical site foreman is to fill in the safety tag.
