Family Works offers a wide range of services to help with many different situations. Please see below for some services that may be relevant to your situation. A complete list can also be found at www.familyworks.co.nz.
Counselling
Family Works counsellors will help you explore and understand your thoughts and feelings on a wide range of issues and then develop problem-solving skills and coping mechanisms.
Social work
Family Works provides advice, support, and advocacy for children and their parents. We can help you and your child work through any problem in a positive way and provide advocacy and advice to make sure your family is getting the right support.
Parenting support and education
Family Works provides practical one-to-one advice and group parenting education programmes designed to help parents understand their children’s behaviour, communicate, bond and respond in a positive way.
Family violence safety support
Family violence is never ok. No-one should be frightened of, scared by, or hurt by someone in their family. At Family Works we support individuals, families and whānau to live a life free from violence, abuse, bullying and neglect.
