Lights

Front Entry Light Fixture

• Shall be recessed into the porch ceiling into porch ceiling (i.e., not visible from the street).
• No additional fixtures are permitted.
• Must have incandescent light source.

The DRB requires that when a current light is replaced, it must be replaced in conformance with this standard

Security lighting

• Subject to all applicable requirements of the Design Guidelines for security lighting, including the necessary neighbor
notification
• The exception is the ground mounted floodlight, which was specifically disapproved as inappropriate for use on a
townhouse property (in the alternative, the DRB approved the use of a low voltage directable landscape light)
• Subject to the requirements of the Design Guidelines.

Stipulation:
• Light be directed so that no glare is visible from off the subject’s property
