String Lights

• Full time string lights are not allowed due to their excessive illumination radiating.

• String and holiday lighting is allowed for limited periods of time. For instance, string
lights are allowed for a weekend party or a holiday season. The time limit on hanging
and using these lights is for less than 45 days per year.

Walkway Lighting

• In that the garage and front door lighting are typically providing sufficient lighting for
sidewalks and driveways at night within the Newport Cluster, the need for additional
mushroom lighting is not always needed. However, if these lights are desired the
following limitations on NCA properties are applicable.

• Additional lighting should be mushroom type (covered to direct lighting downward to the
ground) and limited to a maximum of six fixtures per property).
