P. 4

Descriptive text is not just about saying what we see, but
also how we feel. For example, we don't just say that the
flower is red, but we can add that the red color burns like

dancing fire. In other words, descriptive text invites us to use
our five senses sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch to create
                        a complete and comprehensive picture.

When we learn to write descriptive text, it is important
to use a variety of adjectives and adverbs to describe our
subject. For example, instead of simply saying "the house was
large," we could say "the house was large and magnificent,

with large windows that gleamed in the sunlight." By adding
details like this, we make our descriptions more interesting
and easier for readers to imagine.

Today, we will learn how to write descriptive text that is
able to describe something clearly and vividly. We will

practice using various techniques and strategies to make our
descriptions more interesting and effective. That way, we can
bring our readers into the experience we are having, as if they
were there with us. Let's start this adventure and see how
creatively we can describe the world around us!.

                    General
In descriptive text, the general purpose is to describe, express,
or describe the characteristics of people, things, animals,
places, and so on (Junaili, 2020).
 Creating visualization in the minds of readers i.e. students.
In daily life, sometimes it is difficult for people to say
directly about something that they do not know what it is
called. Then, the way out is by giving detailed characteristics of
