CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
A. Tittle Description
What do you know about transportation? Transportation is an object or
tool used by humans to move from one place to another. Have you ever seen
transportation in your home area or when you are on your way to school? Some of
the transportation that you might see on the road, namely: motorcycles, bicycles,
cars, trucks, buses, etc.
In your house, you must have at least one means of transportation, be it a
bicycle, motorcycle, car, and so on. Do you know the function of transportation
besides being used by humans to move from one place to another? Besides being
used by humans to move from one place to another, transportation is also used by
humans to carry or move goods from one place to another. How many types of
transportation do you know? Transportation is divided into three types, the first
is land transportation, the second is water transportation, and the third is air
transportation.
B. Precondition
In the previous material, the definition of transportation and its function
in everyday life has been presented. To be able to understand this module, it is
expected that you have read related to transportation and the types of
transportation that exist. In addition, try to understand the simple present tense
sentences that you know. If you have fulfilled these preconditions, then you will
be able to describe the types of transportation and the use of the simple present
tense in making sentences about transportation in everyday life.
