HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR
STEPHEN GRAHAM professor of Cities and Society at Newcastle University's School of Architecture,
Planning and Landscape, UK was awarded Honorary Doctor.
PhD student TAEWOONG LEE recieved Nordjyske Universitetsfond Innovations price for the results
from his PhD project on sound zone generation.
Create welcomed two new adjunct professors:
• TORBEN SKOVBJERG from AART Architects to our Architecture section
• THOMAS THESSEN from Copenhagen Airport to our Urban Design and Mobilities section
Teacher of the year 2019 was awarded to:
• Assistant Professor within Urban Design, MICHAEL MARTIN from Architecture and Design
• Scientific Assistant within Medialogy, VIKTOR SCHMUCK from Media Technology
