SHOW. first reserve Challenge certificate. Despite her
The COTYS started in 1965. It is supported by all of recent success we entered the Chow of the year

as an open show and not a championship show. the 2 classes we entered with strong competition.

COTYS 2023 was judged by 2 overseas chowists, Mel Coleman
Mr. Mauro Mostura (Italy) judged the dogs and
Mr. Paul Stanton (Sweden) judged the bitches. The
ultimate Best in show was the bitch, Mel Coleman's
Bon Triumph Diadem. Diadem was bred in Russia
at the well known Bon Triumph kennel, owned by
Marina Vekovischeva. Marina has made several
forays to Crufts and had amazing success. This
was Mel's first really "big" win and needless to say
was over the moon. Well done. Reserve BIS was
the dog, CH. Bojinghai Zeus who was also best any
other colour.

We have always had rescued Chow Chows but
Maggie was our first Chow we bought to show
from the Bon Triumph kennels. She travelled to
England with her brother and sister. We started
showing her in the summer of 21, she did well
as a puppy. Unlike other Chows of the same age
her coat refused to blow this held her back for a
while. However after a litter of 2 pups she seemed Bon Triumph Diadem
to find her feet coming back with a beautiful coat Pet Name: Maggie DOB 11-12-2020
