Note from the Editor
I appreciate everyone who helps support Chow Life in a
variety of ways. For those of you who are thinking about
placing an ad, the article “You’ve Decided to Place an Ad . . .
. Now What?” on pages 64-66 covers how to make sure you
submit good quality photos so that your ad will look its best
as well the specifications for the page layout.
Also, I want to thank everyone who has sent photos for the
Regional & National Specialty collages. While the photos for
the collages are smaller than those used in ads, the submitted
photos still need to be good quality. Small photos from your
phone or social media sites like Facebook will not be as clear
as the high-resolution original photos. While these photos
may look good on your phone, they often are too low quality
and may look blurry when they are printed.
I look forward to seeing everyone in Niagara Falls & getting
lots of nice photos for the collage from those of you attending
the National in October. If you have any questions, please
contact me at chowlife2018@gmail.com.
