Pamela Dian Gilevich

August 13, 1960 – August 25, 2022

Pam Gilevich was a member of the
Chow Fanciers Association of Southern
California since 2010 and served as the
Vice President of the club since 2018.
As many of you know Pam suffered
a motorcycle accident early in her
life which left her paralyzed. While
this accident took the use of her legs,
it highlighted Pam’s strength and
resilience. Pam said that “Life was
too easy before, I needed more of a
challenge.”
Well, I guess the challenge was Chows.
Bruce and Pam started their love affair
with Chows in 1985 and in 2011, they
got their 1st show dog, SUMO, who
was shown by Bruce with of course the
direction of Pam. In fact, Pam often told
Bruce, “How hard can it be?”
