A Chow Christmas Carol

”Patience” the pink tongued Chow Chow
Had a very spotty tongue
And if you ever saw it,
You would even say ”How come?”

All the other Chow Chow puppies
Used to growl and call her names.
They never let poor Patience
Join in any Chow Chow games.

Then one snowy Christmas eve,
Santa came to say,
”Patience, with your tongue so light,
Will you help me out tonight?”

Patience was so happy,
She worked and worked the whole night through
And she got so cold by morning
That her little tongue turned blue!

Now all the Chow Chows loved her
And they barked and barked with glee.
Patience, the blue tongued Chow Chow,
You,ll go down in his-tor-y!!
