As we approach the 2020 National please encourage your club members to
attend the annual membership meeting. It is at this time each member gets to
cast a nomination for our future conformation and sweepstake judges. If you are
considering nominating a non AKC judge please don’t forget you need to have the
10 signature petition supporting the nomination in order for them to make the
ballot.

The National is also a great time to meet other Regional Club members and talk
about things that work well for your club and share ideas on trophies, rosettes,
hospitality items, games, luncheons, and dinners. In order for our Regional Clubs
to continue they need the support of our membership. Join a club near you, help
at their events, sponsor trophies or support the entry. We are still looking for
suggestions to help our struggling Regional Clubs so please feel free to email me if
you have any thoughts.

Just a reminder to all clubs, send your requests for CCCI Medallions and Chow Life
certificates to me at CCCIliaison@yahoo.com. Remember you must list them in your
specialty show premium in order to receive the medallions and certificates.
Don’t forget to promote your Regional Specialty shows by having them listed on
the Chow Life show calendar, email blast and FB post. You can email Carol Ann
at chowlife2018@gmail.com to have items added to the calendar and Love at
lkendr4300@aol.com to send out emails and FB posts.
