A Note from the Editor

As the New Year approaches, I look forward to another year of Chow Life
offering articles covering a variety of topics, but to do this I need your
help.

I look for articles that are interesting and informative, to both newcomers
and those who have been in the breed for many years, and that cover
diverse topics. Sometimes this is easier said than done.

If you have an article that you think would be of interest to Chow
Life readers please send me a copy of the article or information on it
and the contact information for obtaining permission to reprint it at
ChowLife2018@gmail.com.

Also, I could use your help at locating contacts for a few historical
Chow magazines. I have several copies of these magazines
that have interesting, historical articles but I don’t have contacts
for permission to reprint them. I’ve tried to find contact
information for the editors or their heirs of The “American
Chow Chow” magazine which was published until the 1980s
by Jeannine Kindig and/or Frances I. Reid, “Chow Chatter”
which was published in the 1970s by Brigitte Land, and
“The Chow Chow Reporter” which was published in the
1980s & 1990s by Bonnie L. Henson. If anyone has contact
information on these editors or their heirs, please send it
to me at ChowLife2018@gmail.com.
