The CCCGNY, still basking in the glow of our first Specialty in a dog’s age, is looking forward to
the future. With a thirty-plus membership base and successful fund-raising history, we are ready
to take on new challenges.
We will be supporting the entries at the two last shows of the local season, Lehigh Valley and
Delaware Water Gap in December, with trophies and rosettes - majors expected!!
On March 7th, we will be holding a Chow Day, B Match and Pizza Party in Flemington, New
Jersey. This will be excellent practice for the upcoming spring show events and a nice turnout is
expected.
Our 2020 Specialty (with Sweepstakes added this year!) will be held in conjunction with the
Westchester Kennel Club at Branch Brook Park in Bridgewater, NJ on Sunday September 6th.
This is part of a 4-show weekend with separate specialty rings and parking. We will also be
supporting the entry at the Saturday show (Somerset Hills KC).
The CCCGNY will also be joining the CCCI at the 2021 National for the first time in a while.
We are always welcoming new (and veteran) Chow owners in our area - show people, pet people,
Chow lovers of all description. To join our club or for more information on meetings, upcoming
or past events, please visit our website: www.Chow.us or contact us directly:

The RMCCC members enjoyed another great year of fun and loving their beautiful chows! Our
back to back Specialty shows were well attended and everyone had a great time visiting, eating
and grooming their chows. It was fantastic to have three judges who enjoy chows. Wayne Eyster
did a great job judging sweepstakes, with his years of experience and love for our breed very
appreciated by all. Our knowledgeable Breeder judge, Ms JoAnne Schullier, was presented with a
ring full of beautiful chows and enjoyed every moment officiating at our morning specialty show.
Our afternoon judge, the highly respected Mr Thom Stanfield Jr, totally enjoyed his entry at the
afternoon specialty. A day of sharing the joy of our Chows and good friendships was wonderful.
Our show chairman, Pat Foose, did a great job once again. We look forward to having another
exciting day of specialties in 2020!
This year, attendees enjoyed our free lunch between the two specialty shows. Tis allowed everyone
to relax, visit, groom their dogs for the afternoon specialty and having a good meal. Both
humans and chows were able to relax and enjoy the venue.
Milli Sudduth, the RMCCC president, continues to enjoy her role in keeping the club involved
and focused. We continue to offer the annual AKC Responsible Dog Owner materials and rally
new chow fanciers into our club and are blessed with creative and enthusiastic members.
The members of the Rocky Mountain Chow Chow Club wish each and every one of you (and
your chow chows) a wonderful Holiday season and a new year filled with love, commitment to
our breed, health and new opportunities
