It was a beautiful weekend in West Friendship, MD for The Southern Chow Chow Club, Inc’s (SCCCI)
annual Fall Specialty and Supported Entry. Some exhibitors came quite a distance to enjoy the hospitality
the club has become so well known for. Saturday evening’s education program with Dr. Sherry Seibel was
very informative and the dinner that followed was delicious. Sunday dawned on a gorgeous day and the
specialty began with Lewis Klein as Sweepstakes Judge. Mr. Klein had a beautiful group of puppies and
veterans in his ring and his winners were:

After judging, Julia Woodcock drew the winning tickets for the Mystery Bags. Congratulations to Craig
Barrick, Stephanie Barnyak, Tom Masog, Michael Ireland & Barbara Becker we hope you enjoy all the
goodies in the bags. And congratulations to Joanne Lesko for winning the Jose Cuervo Basket. Everyone
seemed to have a great time at the show and the members of SCCCI enjoyed hosting them.
2020 is going to be a very busy year for us starting with a 4 day supported entry in January in memory of
Judy Webb. Following that we will hold our Spring Specialty and Supported Entry in York, PA in March,
with the 5 day Celtic Classic. April will find us hosting a regional specialty at the National in Niagara Falls,
NY. The dog days of summer in July will be spent in West Friendship, MD with another supported entry at
the 3 day Independence Cluster. And we will welcome Autumn in West Friendship, MD for our annual Fall
Specialty and Supported Entry with the Harvest Classic. We hope you can join us for some of our upcoming
events.
