She emphasized that performance in research can be measured in terms of:
• Publications
• Number of patents
• Number of citations
Dr. Vida commented that the University can concentrate of the commodity thrusts of the
University. Through this, more research centers can be developed. Dr. Alava assured
the support coming from the administration. He also suggested to revisit the staffing
pattern and practice multi-tasking.
Dr. Robles advised everyone to document all researches.
2. Extension Services
Prof. Mariel Lising presented the strategic plans of the Extension Services Unit.
