                                                                                   Here  is  a  brief  summary  of  bell  peppers  in  Iran,  their  harvest  time,
                                                                                   calcium content, and the cities where they are grown:
                                                                                   Bell  peppers  are  one  of  the  most  important  greenhouse  vegetables  in
                                                                                   Iran, with a production of 132,000 tons in 985 hectares1.

                                                                                   They  are  grown  in  different  colors,  such  as  green,  yellow,  orange,  and
                                                                                   red,  and  have  a  high  export  value  to  countries  like  Russia,  Iraq,  Qatar,
                                                                                   etc1.

                                                                                   The  best  time  to  plant  bell  peppers  in  greenhouses  is  from  late  August  to
                                                                                   early  September,  and  the  harvest  time  is  from  late  December  to  early
                                                                                   June1.

                                                                                   The  harvest  period  lasts  for  about  eight  months,  and  each  plant  can
                                                                                   produce 15 to 20 fruits1.
                                                                                   Bell  peppers  are  rich  in  vitamin  C,  vitamin  A,  and  beta-carotene,  and  are

                                                                                   good for the heart, health, and anti-aging2.
                                                                                   One  bell  pepper  provides  300  percent  of  the  daily  requirement  of  vitamin
                                                                                   C, and a large amount of vitamin A and beta-carotene to the body2.

                                                                                   Bell  peppers  are  grown  in  different  provinces  of  Iran,  such  as  Tehran,
                                                                                   Alborz, Qazvin, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, Fars, Khuzestan, etc3.
                                                                                   The  calcium  content  of  bell  peppers  varies  depending  on  the  variety,  soil,

                                                                                   and  fertilizer,  but  on  average,  it  is  about  9  milligrams  per  100  grams  of
                                                                                   fresh weight.
