Message from the the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent

For the past years most of you have probably been waiting for this climatic event in your life. That of wearing your toga,

marching with your parents, receiving your certificates and finally saying, yes, I have completed/graduated. It is a vision
most of you have anticipated. However, it may or may not happen because of COVID-19.
It may seem trivial to some compared with the seriousness of the current situation but we feel you. We have also

been looking forward to this event as this also caps our performance in providing service to you. We understand that for most
Filipino families, the moving up ceremony or the graduation is a rite of passage, a reason for most families to celebrate.

But do not lose hope, for now, aim to contribute to the common good of the society. This is what the Department of Education
is gearing towards, pandemic or not. Anchored on improving the quality of education, the Department launched the KITE
which is also this year’s theme “Sulong Edukalidad: Pagtataguyod sa Kinabukasan ng Bayan”. But the burden is not ours

alone to shoulder, though DepEd is spearheading it, we need all Filipinos to rally to our cause in putting premium to educa-
tion. Having your name on the list of completers/graduates is a proof that your family prioritizes education, but we also need

your commitment to pursue your goals in life, no matter how difficult it may be. Only then can we really say that we have
done our best.
Congratulations to you and to your families as well. Continue to make them proud.
