CHALLENGED!
Academy alum, Paul Horvath ’85 and his wife, Cecilie Rohwedder, have issued a challenge to boost Albuquerque Academy’s alumni participation in the Annual Fund. The goal is to raise the alumni participation rate — a strong marker for the school’s strength and one that helps support larger gifts to the school — from 6% to 10% or more!
Here’s the challenge:
If alums raise giving participation to 10%, Paul and Cecilie will donate $20,000 to the Academy. For every percentage above 10%, they will give an additional $4,000 for a maximum gift of $40,000 — and a participation rate of 15%. All gifts made by alums this fiscal year (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017) count towards the challenge. This includes regular donations, as well as purchasing tickets and sponsorship opportunities for fundraising events such as “An Evening with Daymond John.” Click here to learn more about the many ways you can support the Academy.
